Star Trek - destul de epic, foarte old school, abrams a evitat formula "dark and gritty". Prefer in orice zi a saptamanii un star trek nou jj abrams style, decat inca un transformers sau un spider man sau alte cash-cow-uri. observ ca in viitor, avem nave spatiale si teleportare si lasere si kilngonieni, dar sa dai nastere e la FEL de dureros ca azi. That's so misoginistic.

Black Book - The EPIC story of a girl in WWII. Spionaj, lupte, razboi, tradare, intriga, suspans, nazisti, sex, tatze, inca niste tatze, suspans, GREAT productions values, un buget modest (pentru genu asta de film); e olandez, e Veerhoven, e just a fucking spectacular thrill ride!

Eastern Promises - un film cumintel pentru Cronenberg, but well made, tres dramatique si cu un Viggo Mortensen tres cool. Go see History of Violence.

The Hangover - un soi de best off la o sumedenie de comedii, de la blues brothers la dude where's my car. Mult potential, desi unele momente ratate, locuri in care simteam ca SOMETHING FUNNY's gonna happen, the set up's too good, but it didn't deliver. E ok all in all, dar am ras mai mult la My Best Friend's Girl.

Charade - revazut accidental Charade. eram mare fan, inca sunt, it's sort of a personal favorite, dar la a doua vizionare realizez ca nu a imbatranit la fel de bine precum How to Steal a Million. It's still exciting and funny, but you can feel the conventions and limitations of yesteryear.

How to Steal a Million - Audrey Hepburn este unul din specimenele PERFECTE a rasei feminine, iar am ajuns la concluzia ca sunt mare fan Peter O'Toole. Filmul asta a imbratranit impecabil, arata excelent, elementul romantic nu are nuante de penibil, si nu prezinta excesul actoricesc sau umoristic specific erei, and it's just a exemplary heist movie. BEST BEST!!!

The Spirit - un jeg TOTAL. Nu am cuvinte pentru cat de prost si insultator si dezgustator poate fi filmu asta. Arata ca dracu most of the time (comparativ cu Sin City), e enervant, stupid, neamuzant, IT INSISTS UPON ITSELF. Nu mai vine odata Sin City 2.......

Doomsday - O combinatie de V for Vendetta, MAd Max si... King Arthur? Si underworld. Tipa principala E kate beckinsale, sau incearca sa fie. Desigur nu e la acelasi nivel, but she's pretty damn good. The next best thing to kate Beckinsale. Overly stupid and silly, dar distractiv sa zicem. Daca regiza Len Wisemen cred ca iesea ceva de 5 ori mai bun. CU Kate beckinsale daca tot e nevasta-sa.

Fanboys - Cancer? That's weird. It's an okay movie, reference a-mundo. But it's just okay. Sau poate ca sunt eu prea muist cu filmu asta, sau nu eram in the right mood ca sa-l vad, but it wasn't all that funny. But ok.

In the Loop - Fucking BRILLIANT! Adica, pe bune.

The Signal - nu e cine stie ce, dar avand in vedere ca e facut cu 50,000 de dolari, este destul de admirabil. cuvantul esential este: TEZIST!

Let the Right One In - Nu e chiar capodopera ce se tot spune ca e, dar e foarte foarte bun. Cuvantul "visceral" comes to mind. Foarte coios, arata superb, and it's really just all-fucked up. Si are o scena spectaculoasa de combustie spontana.

The Chaser - Koreenii astia sunt niste MOTHER-FUCKERS! rareori am vazut un film care sa ma lase cu sentimentu REAL de "i could never live with myself after that". Trebuie sa fie unu din cele mai realiste gen "crime" movies pe care le-am vazut: circumstante, ghinion, factori externi, incompetenta complementara, the works. Sau aparent realiste, nush exact. Cert e ca, are un ton si o 'textura' cu totu aparte fata de alte filme in acest gen. Superb filmat, in special secventele de fuga, spre deosebire de scoala americana noua, in care atunci cand cineva fuge nu intelegi NIMIC, si iti induce automat o stare de voma. De asemenea filmu asta e presarat cu the "what the fuck?" factor. Stagneaza un pic pe alocuri si ii mai taie din elan, dar nu are aproape nici o importanta for the over-all effect of the movie. Motherfuckeri, koreenii astia. De sud.

cate filme, cate filme. Most of them good. heh.
